Material and treatment
Alloy with a reduced content of carbon, universally recognised for hygiene characteristics and excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly suitable for outdoor environments. Stainless steel does not oxidize or rust in contact with external agents such as water and air. The natural protective film of stainless steel makes the material resistant over time and always restorable. CEA products are entirely made with mechanical procedures that maintain the unique characteristics of the alloy. The stainless steel used is not treated with chrome plating or galvanic processes, preserving the properties of an ecological, eco-friendly, completely recyclable and highly hygienic product.

Special finishes are made on customer demand by deposition of mixtures of zirconium powder and graphite via evaporation in vacuum chambers (plasma). These finishes increase resistance against cleaning agents and salty air and make surfaces anti-scratch. The Black Diamond finish also reduces calcareous deposits due to a self-lubricating feature. All CEA special finishes are ecological and biocompatible. Color and nuance variations are inherent to the working process and not manufacturing defects; chromatic variations (especially in BRONZE and COPPER) are due to oxidation effects and create depth in the product surface.
