By virtue of its special cellular structure, Hebel constitutes a first class thermal insulator. The typical cellular structure of Hebel cladding panels contains small air bubbles ensuring excellent comfort with warmth in winter and pleasant coolness in summer.

In addition, Hebel cladding panels offer good sound insulation, due to the partly open cells situated on the panel surfaces. This is a particularly advantageous physical characteristic which ensures the best working and living environment.

Hebel is non-flammable (see fire stop wall section). Although Hebel cladding panels have fairly large dimensions, they are relatively light. This allows for large areas to be built in a short space of time whilst increasing construction efficiency. HEBEL cladding panels are fixed to a reinforced concrete, steel or wood supporting structure. They can be laid horizontally and vertically, allowing for creative design. In addition, Hebel offers a wide range of finish options.
