3S shading laminates are semi-transparent solar laminates, which can produce electricity from daylight and can also be used as a sunshade. The individually selectable distances between the cells in the solar laminate directly influence the translucent effect, and therefore the protection against heat and glare. The solar laminates can either be produced in an economical glass/film sandwich (with a transparent rear film), or in a glass/glass sandwich.
Applications
The applications are almost limitless - from overhead glazing outdoors, to semi-transparent glass facades for buildings. Processing to photovoltaic double-glazing results in innovative solutions in the field of warm facades and glass roofs. Possible applications are:
